RADIO HOST * AUTHOR * PUBLISHER
Joan Herrmann offers hope with her message about the power of positive thoughts and intentions. She provides information that connects the dots between mind, body, soul and spirit. It is her goal to educate, inspire, motivate and empower others so they can live happy, healthy, productive lives.
Joan Herrmann is the creator of the Change Your Attitude…Change Your Life brand. She hosts and produces the radio show Change Your Attitude…Change Your Life, which airs on New York’s WOR710 AM, the #1 AM News/Talk station in the NY market, and streams on iHeartRadio.
Joan also publishes a monthly digital magazine, Change Your Attitude…Change Your Life: 24/seven, which is distributed to hundreds of thousands worldwide. Her guest and magazine contributors list reads like a who’s who of the most influential and inspirational people in the world. If you ask Joan, she’ll say that they teach her every day because she was, and continues to be, a student who needs to learn the lessons.
Joan is a published author and motivational speaker on the topics of transition, self-esteem, mind-body connection, and self-empowerment. When presenting, she speaks from the heart, not only because she has been taught by the greatest teachers in the world, but because she has experienced self-doubt, loss, and change.
Joan began her journey with what she calls a “rebirth” when her 23-year marriage ended and her mother and sister passed away, all within a period of six months. She used the tremendous loss and personal pain she experienced as the catalyst to a new life. During a period of self-discovery, Joan came to understand that we are impacted by all aspects of life, and are not just the mind, body, soul or spirit, but a sum of the whole. She works tirelessly to provide information that connects the dots between these components.
Joan is a firm believer that knowledge is power and it was her vision to create a forum that empowers through education. From that vision, today, the CYACYL brand has nearly one half million Facebook followers, hundreds of thousands of magazine readers, and a dedicated listening base on WOR and iHeartRadio.
Her recent speaking engagements include the New Jersey Governor’s Conference for Woman, the keynote address for the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners Annual Conference, and The Power of Positive Medicine with Dr. Bernie Siegel. She was a voice for the American Lung Association’s Taking a Breath for Women campaign.
Joan is a contributing author to the book, Keys to a Good Life: Wisdom to Unlock Your Power Within, and she blogs for The Huffington Post. She offers hope with her message about the power of positive thoughts and intentions, and she guides people on how to embrace and deal with change instead of fearing and hiding from it.
Joan is passionate about giving back to society and helping others whenever possible. She is involved with various non-profit organizations and was a recent recipient of a New Jersey Governor’s citation and a Mayor’s award for her work with local hurricane flood relief efforts.
